Textile Weaving/Designing

The Textile Weaving/Designing strand is committed to achieving greatness by providing students many opportunities to grow and learn. Students spend time researching and learning about textile goods are made from in class demonstrations and videos of trendy new designs. Afterwards students in the strand set out put their knowledge to use by using skills and techniques such as :

• Product manufacturing of jewelry 
• Customize and personalize products through either embroidery or heat pressing.
• Learn about arranging spaces through home decor lessons.

Additionally, Students in the strand work in the student store to learn and develop retail skills such as stocking, organizing , customer service , inventory management , advertising and use of a cash register. This unique experience is one that is challenging yet helps our students build a brighter future for tomorrow.
