Homemade Happiness

The Homemade Happiness strand is designed to allow each student the opportunity to gain a real, entrepreneurial business start- up experience. Team members learn the skills to create and develop a variety of products including sugar scrubs, wreaths and other home decor items. As students engage as employees, positive outcomes include:

• Improved academic, communication, cooperation, teamwork, time management and money skills

• Increased problem solving abilities

• Empowerment leading to enhanced self esteem

• Students take pictures, write descriptions, and sell items on eBay to generate the funds necessary to create more goods. 

The Homemade Happiness Strand also allows students to gain entrepreneurial skills by creating a variety of goods and selling the products on Leichman CTC's eBay Store!
