Lion's Den Store

The Lion’s Den Store is a retail strand with the goal of imparting students with skills that they can use in getting a job and/or in their daily living. Our students take pride in accomplishing the different tasks assigned to them every day. While working in the store students work on skills such as:

• Practice using money skills, social skills and academic skills in real life situations.
• Practice daily living skills while maintaining and working at the store including cleaning and dusting.
• Sort, price and hang new items that are donated.
• Practice and use proper customer greeting and service skills while manning the cash register.

The store also helps us establish a great relationship with the community. We get donations from businesses in the area and from families of our students. It also brings in parents to the school who have discovered the many valuable items from our store for reasonable prices.
